Meta Platform Data Deletion Instructions

What this page is for

Ellipsend, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Ellipsend"), is a Meta Tech Provider. When you connect your Instagram or Facebook account to Ellipsend, or when you message or comment on a Customer's account that uses Ellipsend, we receive certain information from Meta ("Meta Platform Data") — including your name, handle, profile photo, and the content of comments or messages exchanged with that account.

This page explains how to request that Ellipsend delete the Meta Platform Data we hold about you.

How to request deletion

If you're an Ellipsend Customer (you connected your own account): if you disconnect the Ellipsend integration from your Instagram or Facebook account, we automatically delete the associated Meta Platform Data at that point. Otherwise, Customer data is deleted 30 days after account closure. You can also email privacy@ellipsend.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" from the email address on your account.

If you're a Contact (you messaged or commented on an Instagram/Facebook account that uses Ellipsend, and want your data deleted from Ellipsend's systems): email privacy@ellipsend.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request," and include the Instagram or Facebook handle you used and the name of the account you messaged, so we can locate your records.

What happens next

We'll confirm your request within 5 business days, verify it relates to data we actually hold, and complete deletion of the applicable Meta Platform Data within 30 days after verification (extendable by up to an additional 60 days for particularly complex requests). We'll send you confirmation once it's complete.

What we keep

We may retain minimal records (e.g., that a deletion request was made and fulfilled, or data we're legally required to keep for billing/tax/dispute purposes) even after deleting the underlying Meta Platform Data.

This is separate from deleting your Meta account

Deleting your data from Ellipsend does not delete your Instagram or Facebook account, or any data Meta itself holds about you. To manage that, use Meta's own account and data settings directly.
